BNamericas, a leading business intelligence platform for developers, contractors, suppliers and financial services firms operating in Latin America, is pleased to announce Sondra Scott has joined as an independent director to the board. Ms. Scott’s 25 years of global experience in the data, analytics and information services sector will prove invaluable to the company as it refines and executes its growth strategy. BNamericas is backed by Endicott Growth Equity Partners, an investment firm that invests exclusively in the information services sector.

Ms. Scott recently joined ADEC Innovations, a leading ESG information and consulting firm, as Chief Executive Officer for U.S. and Europe. Prior to this recent executive appointment, Ms. Scott held several leadership roles at Verisk Analytics, a global information company serving the insurance, financial and energy verticals, and Wood Mackenzie, a leading energy information firm acquired by Verisk in 2015. 

She served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Financial practice where she led an organizational overhaul to improve efficiency and scale, and was President of Verisk Maplecroft, a subsidiary specializing in risk quantification, particularly in politics, economics, environment and human rights indices. During her long tenure, she lived and worked in Mexico for 6 years.

Ms. Scott serves on the board of Gran Tierra Energy and is the Chairman and Co-Founder of the UK non-profit Girl Stats, an organization that develops tools, data analytics and insights to highlight the risks faced by women in global supply chains. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Earth Sciences from Wesleyan University and a Master's Degree in Petroleum Engineering and Economics from University of Pennsylvania & Institut Francais du Petrole.
